I am a landscape architect (MLA), today studying master of art (MA) in art education programme in Aalto University School of Art and Design. Beside studies I work as a freelancer and artist. My backgroud is widely on visual and spatial arts, which gives me an unique perspective in either landscape approach and arts.

Since I graduated as landscape architect I’ve been part-timely teaching the new classes my self-developed method for observing the landscape by spending time and making art in the landscape [maisemassa]. The main point with the method is to find out how the visual interpretation and multisensory observing can play role in landscape assessment and further in design process - landscape is not just in front of an observer.

Meanwhile teaching and studying I do personal art projects. I’ve held solo exhibitions dealing with landscape and performative arts among spatial artworks, and participated co-exhibitions in Finland and abroad.

Today I’m especially attracted to associate [olla (jnk kanssa), viipyä, ajelehtia] with naturescapes and weather. I do artistic research concerning immersive landscape experience and weather - as well in the actual world as in other realities.
